How to Choose Your Customizations

1 | Select a base fabric—from our most popular Grande Hotel or Celeste fabrications to our premier Giza 45 Sateen or Giza 45 Percale. All designs, with the exception of our Classico linen, are available in either white or ivory base colors.

2 | Select one or two embroidery or appliqué colors as applicable. The full range of premium, Italian Aurifil colors are available for Tailor Made embroideries. Aurifil thread sample books are available for purchase if you are looking for an exact color match. To order, please click here.

3 | Select a hem style—knife edge or a flange hem options on Duvet Covers, and hemstitch or plain hem on Sheets, Shams, and Pillowcases.

4 | For Tailor Made only, a test swatch will be made for customer review before final products are produced. Test swatches take two weeks to be delivered.

Orders with a test swatch (Tailor Made only) are subject to a $50 non-refundable fee. This fee is then applied to the order once the test swatch has been approved. If the test swatch is not approved and the order is cancelled, the $50 test swatch fee will not be refunded.

Full payment is due upon order, and all custom orders are final sale.

Any cancellation or change to order must be made within 3 business days (the date of order being Day 1).

No returns are permitted unless product is defective in materials or workmanship. Any issues with your order must be reported to SFERRA within 48 hours of receipt of merchandise.


Lead time for delivery is 6-8 weeks after the test swatch has been approved, or 8-10 weeks total.

Due to all of our bedding being made in Italy, please note longer lead times during the standard August and December vacation and holiday closures. Orders must be confirmed by June 15th before the August full-month closure, or by November 15th in time for Christmas delivery.
