What draws you to SFERRA products for your interiors? What aspects do you love most about them?

I love the quality and the simplicity of the products [SFERRA] offers. I also love how easy it is the shop with my clients at the SFERRA showrooms. They can accommodate my east end clients and my city clients—it’s an ideal relationship.

How do you balance aesthetics and functionality in your designs?

Function always comes first—but the aesthetic has to be right behind it or it doesn’t work. With all the options on the market you should be able to have both!

What are some of your favorite sources for design inspiration?

When I travel I tend to stay in 5 star hotels—like the Four Seasons-a Rosewood property or a Ritz Carlton. The one thing these all have in common is attention to luxe details—whether it be the sheeting or the towels or the robes or the throws in the rooms.

This is what I want my clients to experience—and this is why I use the SFERRA products over and over again—to give my clients to that experience day to day—not just on vacation.

What is your personal style of living, and what would you consider to be an essential element of home to you?

Quiet luxury. Top of the line products with a simplicity and subtlety that is at the same time, current and timeless. I would describe my own style as clean and modern but with warmth. through the use of materials and textiles to make a house a home.

How do you incorporate SFERRA products to make your design vision come to fruition?

I literally drag my fabrics selected for each room in any given project and lay them out with my SFERRA team and we pair up the bedding and bath and accessories inspired by what the client has already approved. It’s fun and easy!
